Revised concept, I realized that while I liked the weapon, I didn't feel like it fit the Darksiders world so I went back to the drawing board and added more skulls (guitar solo) and changed the colors to something that fits more of the style.

Polycount Darksiders 2 Weapon Contest: Learning the style

So I'm going to be participating in the Polycount Darksiders competition, so earlier tonight, while sketching up some ideas, I decided to also do a quick Zbrush sketch before bed to see how to figure out the style a bit. Needs a lot more polish, but I think I'm near the style.
